Most asked Questions & Answers

When purchasing a wig for the first time, it is crucial to try on a variety of styles at a wig shop or schedule a home visit from a wig supplier. A wig centre’s hair stylist can also demonstrate how to put a wig on your head and make sure it fits correctly.

1) How do I get over my embarrassment at wearing a wig?

If you have never worn a wig before, you might feel self-conscious about it. The important thing to remember is that, even though it is a wig in the box, once it is on your head, it is your hair! Try to wear one without feeling uncomfortable.

2) A Custom Wig: What Is It?

A custom wig is one that has been made to the exact specifications of the customer. Your hair length, colour, density, and head size can all be customized to create a custom wig that fits you perfectly. The processing time for a custom wig is typically 15 days.

3) Can I customize hair style as my pictures for wigs?

Yes, we can create wigs with a curly or wavy pattern to match your photos. However, you should let your stylist handle certain special requests, such as applying layers.

4) Will my wig come already cut?

No. Cutting your system while it's on your head is the most effective method.

5) Is it possible to colour the hair wig?

100% human hair is used to make our human hair wig. If you have colouring experience, you can style your natural hair however you like.

6) Can I use a flat iron on a wig?

Yes, your hair can be styled and flat iron your hair however you like. However, we do not advise flat ironing a curly unit as this will cause the curl to become less noticeable over time.

7) Can I perm the wig?

Yes! Our wigs are all made entirely of 100% human hair. You can create a variety of hairstyles to fit your fashion needs with your standard styling tools. Please keep in mind that too much heat can harm the natural cuticle of any human hair.

8) Can I wear my wig with glasses?

Yes. There are "open ear tabs" on wigs that glasses can slide under.

9) Can I choose how I want the wig to be parted?

Yes, with the exception of the fix parting wig, we do have some free style wigs that you can wear anywhere.

10) How can I pick a color?

After you have decided on a style, it's time to choose a colour. If you're new to wearing wigs, think about sticking with your natural colour. You can always experiment with colour later. (You can also order colour rings or use our professional colour consultation services by sending us a photo or a swatch of your hair.)

11) How can I learn about the various wig types?

If you're new to wigs, you won't be familiar with a lot of the terminology, so it can be very confusing. It does get easier with time, just like anything else.

12) What additional products are available for alopecia sufferers?

A range of headdresses, such as bandanas, hats, scarves, turbans, and sleep caps, are available in addition to wigs.

13) Could I purchase a wig online?

A lot of people purchase wigs online without any issues, but regrettably, we frequently hear from customers who have issues with online merchants. Do your homework before buying, read online reviews, and most importantly, look into the supplier's return policy. Please remember that not every online retailer will accept returns.

To get professional advice, we would always advise visiting at least one wig fitting facility. They can give you size advice and demonstrate how to put the wig on correctly. It can be challenging to know what you need when buying a wig for the first time.
